History of Chesapeake Cancer Alliance

The Chesapeake Cancer Alliance was formed in 2003 by a group of Harford County Ladies interested in raising funds for cancer related programs to benefit cancer patients in Harford County. It was their decision to partner with Upper Chesapeake Health for the benefit of cancer patients in Harford County. CCA is an incorporated 501 c 3 organization.

The group of volunteers now numbers over 180 active members and continues to grow as name recognition increases. The group raises funds through personal projects and major events, corporate and business partnerships and community donations and annual giving programs. All fundraising dollars go to support the Integrated Care Management Cancer LifeNet program and Navigator programs at Upper Chesapeake Health for the benefit of cancer patients, their families and friends in Harford County.
