CCA Presents Check

CCA's check presentation to the Foundation and Cancer LifeNet team.

CCA Bracelets

CCA members are making and selling CCA Bracelets for $20 each. For sale are the "Cancer Awareness Bracelet" and the "Breast Cancer Bracelet" w/ sterling silver and cats eye beads and sterling ribbon or pink ribbon charms. Available by contacting a CCA member or calling 410-638-0301.

Nurse Navigators and Volunteer Navigators provide Education, coordinate care and serve as a trusted resource for cancer patients, family members and caregivers. Navigators have access to an extensive network of oncology services to ease the burden for cancer patients. Our Navigators will be the patient's advocate throughout the experience.

Cancer LifeNet works to help people face the challenges of living with cancer by providing information, education and support. Cancer LifeNet is community funded: all classes, groups and services are free of charge. Programs available through Cancer LifeNet include:

  • Classes and Support Groups
  • Seminars and Workshops
  • Exercise programs
  • Programs for children and teens
  • Inpatient education and counseling
  • Resource and lending libraries
  • Community and workplace presentations
  • Telephone information and referral
  • Volunteer opportunities
 

UCHF Receives
$80,000 from CCA

CCA members present a check to members of the Upper Chesapeake Foundation and Cancer LifeNet.

Bike4BreastCancer
Presents Check

Adele Snowman and Bob Buchanan present a check from Bike4BreastCancer to Kitty Pickett, Debbie Heath and Jeanne Stratmeyer of the Chesapeake Cancer Alliance and Robin Luxon, UCH Vice President for Clinical Services. The annual Bike4BreastCancer event held in September donates their funds to the CCA for Cancer LifeNet Breast Cancer support services.
